Baha'i Temple 6/19/06

The Baha'i Temple is the designation of a place of worship, or temple, of the Bahá'í Faith. The teachings of the religion envision Houses of Worship being surrounded by a number of dependencies dedicated to social, humanitarian, educational, and scientific pursuits, although none have yet been built to such an extent. The Bahai Temple in Wilmette Il. is open to the public, and is exclusively reserved for worship, where sermons are prohibited and only scriptural readings may be read.
